Meeting Notes, Hep C Prevention in Youth CommitteeCommunity partners met to addresses the increase of prescription medication misuse as well as intranasal and injection drug use, that has contributed to increased rates of Hepatitis B and C nationally.
Members of the LGBTQ Initiative met to organize panel discussions on Hepatitis; help develop a LGBTQ hepatitis personal stories workshop; help produce LGBTQ hepatitis resources; and plan for Pride events.
Our Bronx Hep C Task Force meeting included a presentation on Project INSPIRE and updates on the End of Hep C Initiative.
On February 23, 2016, Patient Navigators met at the Nest to learn about its Hepatitis care services and to develop a directory of Patient Navigators in New York City.
On March 9, 2016, over 50 people attended the Brooklyn Hep C Task Force Meeting. Participants discussed the development of a Faith-Based Initiative, updates in Hep C medication coverage, and other important issues.

Participants were updated on Hep B priorities in the United States, the Check Hep B Brooklyn Chinese Program, and advocacy efforts to secure Check Hep B funding in FY 2018.
The Hep B Coalition meeting introduced the new Team HBV initiative supported by a Hep B United Grant, featured the New Charles B. Wang Community Health Center #NOHep Social Media Campaign, and provided updates on the Check Hep B Patient Navigation Program.
At the April 27 Hepatitis B Coalition meeting, attendees learned about the Project H+EAL Program and results of the enhanced Hep B Surveillance Project.

Members of the LGBTQ Initiative met to organize panel discussions on Hepatitis; help develop a LGBTQ hepatitis personal stories workshop; help produce LGBTQ hepatitis resources; and plan for Pride events.
Our Bronx Hep C Task Force meeting included a presentation on Project INSPIRE and updates on the End of Hep C Initiative.
On February 23, 2016, Patient Navigators met at the Nest to learn about its Hepatitis care services and to develop a directory of Patient Navigators in New York City.
