Committee Mission:

Develops Hep Free NYC social media strategy and posts information/resources on the Hep Free NYC website and social platforms. As well as promote and engage in outreach for Hep Free NYC planned events, pre-event promotion and post-event documenting successes on social media platforms.

Hepatitis Awareness Month Debrief:

    • Social media or Awareness Day Content and Survey
    • Hepatitis Awareness Press Lead
    • Hep C Comic book, partner with NYS Health Department
      • Anthony will make contact with NYS Health Department
    • Social Media Toolkit update – Alma will draft template
  • Social Media Platform Strategy
    • Facebook + Instagram: Targets population age 35 and up, Use platform for    community events such as cancer awareness
    • Threads and X (Twitter): Targets elected officials
  • Idea pit
    • 311 Collaboration for Awareness Days
