Committee Mission:
Develops Hep Free NYC social media strategy and posts information/resources on the Hep Free NYC website and social platforms. As well as promote and engage in outreach for Hep Free NYC planned events, pre-event promotion and post-event documenting successes on social media platforms.
Hepatitis Awareness Month Social Media Toolkit Discussion:
- Update elected officials’ social media handles list
- Email all RSVP’s to share toolkit after RSVP for Hepatitis Awareness Month
- Creation of short informative videos to share the importance of Hep testing and treatment
- Translated videos for inclusion and wider reach
Possible Projects:
- Create voice/video awareness content to supplement of enhance existing materials
- Create social media post in other languages for organizations to share (French, Korean, Chinese/Mandarin, Swahili or other African language)
