Committee Mission:
Develops Hep Free NYC social media strategy and posts information/resources on the Hep Free NYC website and social platforms. As well as promote and engage in outreach for Hep Free NYC planned events, pre-event promotion and post-event documenting successes on social media platforms.
Discussion of Potential Projects:
- Multiple twitter chats throughout the year, to add one twitter chat during Hepatitis Awareness Month
- Example: October —> Liver Cancer
- September–> NIRHHA day
- July–> World Hepatitis Day, National African American Hep C Action Day
- Update and customize Hepatitis Awareness Month Social Medial Toolkit
- Create press kit and support traditional press at Hepatitis Awareness Month events to use for other awareness events
- Create Hepatitis Awareness Month Graphics/Banners
Outreach:
- Inviting Hep Free NYC partners with expertise in communications to join meeting
- Invite member of comms teams of Hep Free NYC partners active on social media.
