United Sikhs Plans for the Awarded Hep B United Mini-Grant

  • Goal: Improve culturally and linguistically appropriate resources to raise awareness and promote Hep B testing and vaccination by hosting monthly screenings.
  • Currently, conducting monthly Hep B testing at Sikh Community Centers (Gurdwaras) in collaboration with Korean Community Korean Services
  • Translated the SAHI Hep B & C postcards into Punjabi
  • Screened over 100 participants
  • Reported many did not know about Hep B but were willing to get tested
