Their mission is to ensure that all members of the communities they work with — regardless of ability to pay— are provided with quality, comprehensive and culturally effective primary healthcare.
They are seeking a Part-time Hepatitis B Program Assistant.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist with coordinating Hepatitis B awareness and screening events
- Coordinate volunteer opportunities for student groups to get involved in Hepatitis B advocacy and awareness activities
- Assist with data collection for Hepatitis B research studies (administer informed consent and questionnaires to patients)
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
- Supervise special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with community health projects, preferably in Asian communities
- Experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Fluency in Mandarin and English
- Candidates should be pursuing an MPH, MIA, MPA, MSW or relevant degree. Students in need of internship/practicum advisors are welcome to apply
- Ability to work a minimum of 14 hours per week
- Motivated, self-directed individual, able to work in a team
- Strong interpersonal, writing and analytical skills
