Governor Cuomo Announces $3.5M in Funding to Address Opioid Crisis

OASAs will issue up to 10 awards of up to $350,000 each to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) to expand or establish opioid disorder services, including medication assisted treatment (MAT). One award will be issued to a FQHC in each of the 10 Empire State Development Regions.

FQHCs must partner with at least one OASAS-certified provider, or be currently licensed as an Article 32 facility, to be eligible to receive funding. The RFA can be viewed here.

Please note that applications are due by March 7, 2019. In order to ensure statewide participation in all 10 ESD regions, please let Suzanne Rossel know if you are planning to apply for funding, what region you are applying in, and whether you currently hold an Article 32 license or will partner with another organization.
