The NYS legislature passed the Standardized Prior Authorization bill A.10248B/S.7384A, which will enhance patient access, relieve overburdened health care providers, and allow providers more time to treat patients!

But in order for this bill to go into effect, Governor Cuomo must now sign it into law.

We need your help again, and we urge you to share this alert with your members, friends, family, co-workers, and healthcare providers.

Please help us protect Medicaid consumers and their healthcare providers, by asking Governor Cuomo to please sign bill A.10248B/S7384A, requiring the Health department to create a standardized form that all Medicaid Managed Care plans would have to use for the pharmacy benefit.

The standardized form will cost the state nothing and will help reduce the barriers that patients and providers face when it comes to prescription drug access, by streamlining the process. Please take a moment to weigh in with Governor Cuomo and urge him to support this legislation and please encourage your friends, family and colleagues in the patient advocacy community and beyond to do the same.

Please call (518) 474-1041 and voice your support!
