After much advocacy, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has initiated a National Coverage Determination process for adding Hepatitis B screening of high risk individuals as a covered Medicare preventive service.
The public can provide comments to CMS in support of this policy change. (deadline Feb 20, 2016)
