Research and Evaluation Associate at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center
Job Description
- Assist in conducting research and evaluation projects at the Health Center in areas such as reproductive and sexual health, family planning, physical activity, diabetes
- Assist in managing local activities for the data research network grants, including liaising with external partners, overseeing participation in comparative effectiveness research studies and national data registry, participating in subcommittees
- Manage and maintain internal research infrastructure, including updating and carrying out health center research policies and procedures, managing external research requests, coordinating and tracking IRB-approved research, and updating internal databases
- Assist in grant proposal development and writing, including conducting background research and conceptualizing evaluation work plans and logic models
- Assist in health center strategic planning, including performing a needs assessment and conducting and presenting secondary data analysis on community demographics and health issues
- Assist in developing and reviewing evaluation reports, conference presentations, and manuscripts for various departments and programs as needed
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with survey and qualitative research methods
- Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills
- Organized and attentive to details
- Bilingual Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) and English
- Experience working in human services or health-related settings
- Familiarity with SPSS and Atlas.ti
