The Health Center is recruiting for the following full-time position:
Job Title: Hepatitis B Program Director
Reports To: Chief Medical Officer
Responsibilities:
- Direct the clinical hepatitis B (HBV) programs at the Charles B Wang Community Health Center
- Oversee current HBV grants, their reporting and conduct new grant proposals
- Lead multi-disciplinary Hepatitis B Care Team and be clinical lead for Hepatitis B Care Program,
- Hep B Moms Program and HBV Screening Programs
- Participate in HBV outreach and advocacy, including national involvement
- Lead dissemination efforts (presentation, abstracts, publications) of center wide HBV work
- Maintain a panel of internal medicine patients
- Manage HBV programmatic staff
- Other clinical projects as needed (Meaningful Use, Medical Home)
Qualifications:
- MD with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- Leadership experience in a clinical and/or programmatic setting
- Experience with HBV and Asian health issues preferred
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Bilingual Chinese preferred
