Farma Pene, Health Care Access Specialist, NYC Health Department – fpene@health.nyc.gov- Hepatitis Awareness Month Summary: CHIPO-NYC Committee collaborated with Empire Liver Foundation to provide a town hall to increase Hep B and liver cancer awareness among people of African origin. Dr. Harmit Kalia, Transplant Hepatologist, and Bright Ansah, Just B Storyteller, gave a presentation and answered questions submitted by the community and clients.
