  • Satisfaction with how the coalition operates
    • 88% reported overall satisfaction of coalition experience
    • 85.2% reported satisfaction during the pandemic
  • Satisfaction with capacity building— respondents agreed that the coalition helped build their organizations’ capacity to:
    • Learn from Hep Free NYC partners: 93.8%
    • Provide hepatitis education: 93.7%
    • Identify communities at risk: 92.3%
    • Provide or coordinate hepatitis screening, care: 86.1%

  • Hepatitis Awareness Month Summary: CHIPO-NYC Committee collaborated with Empire Liver Foundation to provide a town hall to increase Hep B and liver cancer awareness among people of African origin. Dr. Harmit Kalia, Transplant Hepatologist, and Bright Ansah, Just B Storyteller, gave a presentation and answered questions submitted by the community and clients. The recording of the town hall meeting is available by email request.
