Access Biologicals is currently in need of participants that diagnosed as acute or chronically infected with Hepatitis B.
Access Biologicals supports diagnostic research & development of in-vitro diagnostics. With your participation in donating your plasma you would be helping support research and diagnostic development to diagnose others and save lives! If we can create awareness and diagnose others we can hopefully limit the spread of Hepatitis.
We have locations throughout the USA and donor participation is performed in accordance with the current FDA regulations and overseen by a Physician onsite, participants care is always a top priority. These antigens (HBsAg) are collected through a process called plasmapheresis; this procedure is similar to donating whole blood (i.e. Red Cross). But plasma is the protein based substance that your blood cells float around in, the difference is your blood cells and platelets are returned to you. Your body will regenerate plasma collected within 24 hours; the FDA would allow you to donate twice in a seven day period.
Participants will be compensated $200-$500 per donation.
