This position will assist the program coordinator in both patient and provider education, identifying patients eligible for enrollment into various Hepatitis C programs, coordinating patient tracking and program activities,  managing data collected for quality and performance improvement initiatives, and communicating with clinical, data, and programmatic staff to ensure quality patient care and program implementation.  Although the main project assigned will be the Check Hep C Project, focusing on linking various patients across the Bronx to HCV care at Montefiore, the Project Associate will be expected to travel to various clinical sites, assist with other HCV-related projects, and work with various clinical, administrative, and project/research staff.

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Biology, Psychology, or Education. 3 years of related work experience.  Must possess the skills to oversee and manage protocol implementation, as well as experience communicating with clinical staff in both in-patient and out-patient settings. Must possess sophisticated interpersonal and communication skills, as well as knowledge of Hepatitis management, community resources and fluency with medical terminology. Must possess excellent decision making skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, time management and organizational skills. Must have knowledge on database maintenance and data management. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
