Charles B Wang Health Center Health Fair — Volunteers Needed
The Charles B. Wang Community Health Center (CBWCHC) is a non-profit community based health care facility that has been providing affordable and quality primary and specialty health care to Asian Americans for over 40 years. CBWCHC promotes the health of our local community through continuous health education, outreach and advocacy programs.
Each year, CBWCHC holds a health fair – Good Health Day – in Chinatown, Manhattan and Flushing, Queens. Good Health Day will feature FREE SCREENINGS for cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension and other health problems that are prevalent in the Asian American community. There will also be health activity booths that address health issues such as oral health, diabetes, cardiovascular health, pediatrics, and women’s health issue.
