Designate NAIRHHA Day as a Federal Health Observance!

The Hep B Foundation and Multicultural AIDS Coalition have been advocating for federal recognition of September 9th as National African Immigrant & Refugee HIV & Hepatitis Awareness (NAIRHHA) Day. NAIRHHA Day has been observed at the regional and local levels since 2014. Designation of this day as a nationwide observance will go a long way toward empowering communities & bringing attention and culturally and linguistically appropriate resources to the pressing issues of HIV/AIDS and Hep B, specifically as they relate to African communities.

Hep B Foundation is now working to gather individual and organizational support for this effort. They would greatly appreciate you adding your signature, either as an individual, or signing on behalf of your organization. Please also feel free to share widely with your networks!
