A network building capacity to prevent, manage and treat hepatitis B and C in NYC
The Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Use Prevention, Care and Treatment works to improve the health of people who use drugs and alcohol in NYC by contracting with NYC providers, directing policy, and conducting research on drug and alcohol-related morbidity and mortality.
NYHRE Harm Reduction Counselors are responsible for providing an array of street and office-based harm reduction services across multiple contracts to individuals engaging in risky behavior, from low-threshold risk reduction education to intensive case management.
