This two-part, three-hour training will provide patient navigators, caseworkers, test counselors, and other prevention counselors with a basic overview of Hep C and its impact in NYC. It also introduces successful patient navigation strategies used by current Hep C patient navigation programs. This training provides an overview of NASTAD’s Hep C Community Navigation Toolkit and describes how the toolkit can be practically applied to implement and strengthen hepatitis navigation programs.
