Description:
This training series for hepatitis peer, patient, and telephone navigators will discuss harm reduction principles and overdose prevention strategies that support conversations with Hep C patients around risk factors for overdose. It includes ways to reduce stigma towards people who use drugs (PWUD) and strategies to prevent opioid and stimulant overdoses using tools such as motivational interviewing to engage Hep C patients in overdose prevention services.
