This two-hour webinar will introduce providers to trauma and the impact on clients with HIV/STIs/Hep C. This course will review the definition of trauma and trauma informed care.

Objectives:

At the end of this training, participants will be able to:

1. Define trauma and list examples of trauma that clients with HIV/STIs/Hep C encounter
2. Describe the ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Study and its importance to providers
3. Define trauma informed care
4. List at least 5 triggers that may re-traumatize clients with HIV/STIs/Hep C
