This two-hour webinar will introduce providers to trauma and the impact on clients with HIV/STIs/Hep C. This course will review the definition of trauma and trauma informed care.

Objectives:

1. At the end of this training, participants will be able to:
2. Define trauma and list examples of trauma that clients with HIV/STIs/Hep C encounter
3. Describe the ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Study and its importance to providers
4. Define trauma informed care
5. List at least 5 triggers that may re-traumatize clients with HIV/STIs/Hep C
