Social services providers are in a unique position to offer support to clients living with or at risk for Hep C. This two-hour webinar provides an overview of Hep C transmission, disease progression, testing and treatment.

1. Recall basic facts about who is affected by Hep C in New York State.
2. Recall basic facts about the functions of the liver and how liver damage affects the body.
3. Describe how Hep C is and is not transmitted.
4. Describe to clients the spectrum of illness for Hep C.
5. Describe the two-step testing algorithm for Hep C.
6. Describe the goals of Hep C treatment
