This is the second webinar in a three-part series for peer workers. The goal of this two-hour webinar is to provide peers with information about the progress made in treatment options for people living with Hep C. Peer workers will increase their awareness of the overall medical care needs of people living with Hep C and practice the skills and knowledge acquired through case studies and interactive discussion.

Objectives:

• Describe the goals and advantages of Hep C treatment
• Recall basic information about advances in Hep C treatment
• Define sustained virologic response (SVR)
• Identify strategies to support clients as they prepare for and engage in Hep C treatment

Intended Audience:

Individuals seeking peer worker certification.

**Peers must participate in all three webinars in the series (Parts 1, 2, and 3) to count towards NYS Certified Peer Worker certification.
