Join Hep B Foundation in welcoming Dr. Su Wang and Bijou Hunt, who will share findings from a recent pilot program to conduct Hep D testing for individuals who tested positive for Hep B surface antigen in eight different healthcare centers around the United States. They will discuss the prevalence of Hep D found in the study, as well as barriers and successes in incorporating Hep D testing into the Hep B care cascade, and lessons learned. The Hep B Foundation will also share a new resource for primary care providers, outlining the Hep D testing process.
