Description:
This two-part training will provide patient navigators, caseworkers, test counselors, and other prevention counselors with a basic overview of Hep and its impact in NYC. It also introduces successful patient navigation strategies used by current Hep C patient navigation programs. This training will also provide an overview of NASTAD’s Hep C Community Navigation Toolkit and describe how the toolkit can be practically applied to implement and strengthen hepatitis navigation programs.
**It is recommended to attend both sessions – part 1 & 2.
