- Apply harm reduction strategies to help clients avoid re-infection
- Counsel clients living with Hep C about the importance of primary care, vaccination for Hep A and B, avoiding alcohol, and practicing good liver health practices
- Use motivational interviewing strategies to talk with clients about Hep C treatment and work as part of a care team to assist clients in accessing and completing treatment
Intended Audience:
Individuals seeking peer worker certification.
**Peers must participate in all three webinars in the series (Parts 1, 2, and 3) to count towards NYS Certified Peer Worker certification.
