Description:

This training is designed to educate clinical providers on current Hep C screening and treatment guidelines and how to best support people experiencing homelessness to complete their Hep C treatment.

By the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. Acquire a basic understanding of Hep C screening and treatment
  2. Learn how to support people experiencing homelessness to complete their Hep C treatment
  3. Hone their engagement practices with people facing multiple social, medical, and emotional challenges
  4. Remain engaged with people who are highly transient in the homeless service system
