Learn how to overcome barriers to Hep C testing and treatment for priority groups such as men who have sex with men and pregnant individuals by providing care in locations where they already access other services. In this live virtual workshop, gain insights from experts who have successfully implemented care in sexual and reproductive health clinics. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions to help you identify challenges and find solutions for your own practice.
Objectives:
By the end of this event, participants will be able to:
- Implement strategies to enhance Hep C screening rates across various healthcare settings.
- Utilize guideline-based and expert-recommended approaches for simplified Hep C care.
- Gain skills to provide Hep C treatment in nontraditional environments, such as addiction medicine and sexual/reproductive health clinics.
Target Audience:
This training is designed for healthcare professionals who are involved in the care of individuals with or at risk for Hep C virus. This includes practitioners in fields such as addiction medicine, sexual and reproductive health, and primary care settings.
