This two-hour webinar will introduce providers to trauma and the impact on clients with HIV/STIs/Hep C. This course will review the definition of trauma and trauma informed care.

HIV & Hep C Co-infection (NYC Health Dept)
This two part (3 hours total - 2 sessions that are each 1.5 hours) training is for health and human service providers who work with people living with HIV and who need updated information about HIV/Hep C co-infection in order to provide effective services to their clients. More than 25% of people living with HIV in the United States are co-infected with Hep C. Among people who acquired HIV as a result of injection drug use, the rates of HIV/Hep C co-infection may be as high as 90%. Hep C screening is recommended for all persons living with HIV.

Hep C Screening and Management Among People of Childbearing Age and Pregnant People (American Academy of Pediatrics)
This series is designed to educate health care providers who come in contact with 1) people of childbearing age, 2) pregnant people (during pregnancy, perinatal and post-natal), and 3) infants and children perinatally infected with Hep C on updated Hep C screening guidelines, management details, and support with reporting requirements.
