National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Tuberculosis Prevention Public Health Conference Support
For information, see here
The purpose of this conference support funding is to provide partial support for specific non-federal conferences in the areas of health promotion, disease prevention information and education programs, and applied research.
Applicants must propose conferences that are specific to one or more of the Focus Areas of Programmatic Interest (topics that support CDC’s goals and recommendations related to HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, STDs, TB, and/or adolescent and school health). Conference attendees are expected to have increased access to the latest evidence-based information related to the focus areas, increased knowledge, and improved professional partnerships.
Cost sharing or matching funds are required—At least 51% of conference costs must be supported with other funds (sources could include organizations, conference income, registration fees, etc.).
Preference will be given to applications seeking to target public health providers, professionals, and others who represent or serve populations at greatest health risk for HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, STDs, or TB.
