DESCRIPTION:The Intersection of the Opioid Crisis and Hep C\nTuesday\, May 5\, 2026 | 1 – 3 PM\nRSVP\nDescription:\nThe goal of this two-hour webinar for health and human services providers is to inform providers about the impact of the nation’s opiate crisis on the Hep C epidemic\, so that they may better serve and address barriers for clients who are living with Hep C and/or have a relationship with opioid use. \nObjectives:\nBy the end of this webinar\, participants will be able to: \n1. Discuss the history of both epidemics nationwide and within New York State\n2. Describe the relationship between Hep C and opioid use\n3. Identify harm reduction strategies for their clients\n4. Highlight how the New York State Hep C Elimination Plan works to address health inequities among priority populations who are living with Hep C and/or use opioids \nRSVP
