SUMMARY:Training | Overdose Prevention & Response with Naloxone (NYC Health Dept)
DESCRIPTION:Overdose Prevention & Response with Naloxone\nWednesday\, March 26 | 2 – 3 PM\nRSVP\nDescription:\nThis virtual training will teach you how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose using naloxone and provide information on how to access free naloxone. \nThe training runs for approximately one hour and kits can be mailed to attendees upon request following the training. \nPlease note: Kits can only be mailed to addresses within the five boroughs of New York City. \nTo access kits outside of NYC\, please visit here. \nOnce you have registered for the training\, you will receive a few follow-up emails from NYC Health Department via Zoom: \n\nImmediately after you register: Registration confirmation email with log-in information\nOne (1) day and one (1) hour before the training: Training reminder emails\n\nIf it is the day before the training and you did not receive an email with the Zoom log-in information\, you should reach out to us at naloxone@health.nyc.gov.
