The Working Group is composed of advocates\, clinicians\, community-based organizations\, people with lived experience\, and researchers. Membership is open to anyone from these communities who are committed to advancing the Working Group’s goals. \nTo join the Working Group\, email Adrienne Simmons (adrienne@nvhr.org). After joining\, members will be added to a Google Group (hepdiagnostics@googlegroups.com) and receive a calendar invite\, as well as access to a Google Drive. \nMeeting Schedule:\nThe Working Group meets monthly via Zoom on the 4th Thursday at 3:00 pm Eastern. DESCRIPTION:Hep C Intervention Symposium\nThursday\, April 10 | 9:30 AM – 3 PM\nLocation: Hilton Knoxville (501 W Church Ave\, Knoxville\, TN 37902)\nRSVP\nDescription:\nThis symposium will showcase best practice models of care\, highlighting key research\, challenges and learnings in a collaborative environment\, with the aim of supporting participants to develop or enhance their own Hep C or HIV models of care. \nIt is intended for anyone working with people who use drugs\, interested in implementing or scaling up interventions for Hep C in their service setting\, including doctors\, nurses\, frontline workers\, peer workers\, program managers\, pharmacists\, and policymakers from a variety of settings. \nBy the end of this symposia\, you will be able to:\n\nUnderstand evidence-based interventions demonstrated to enhance the Hep C care cascade\nUnderstand the Hep C care cascade and be able to identify areas for enhancement in service delivery\nDescribe how a range of interventions work and how they can be implemented to enhance models of Hep C and integrated HIV care and overcome barriers to case finding\, testing\, diagnosis and linkage to care\nIdentify suitable interventions to enhance service delivery\nAnalyze barriers of implementing successful interventions and how to overcome them\n\nQuestions?
