Webinar | Let’s Talk: From Vaccine to Vaccination

November 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm EST

Join us for a presentation and discussion with Gary S. Marshall, MD, FAAP
“Let’s Talk: From Vaccine to Vaccination – how substances make it from candidate vaccines to products that vaccinate individuals”
Wednesday, November 18, 2020
12:15 PM to 1:15 PM

This presentation provides background for providers, practice staff, Medical Reserve Corps volunteers, pediatric and family medicine students and residents, nurses, and others involved with vaccination to understand vaccine infrastructure in the United States. This includes how vaccines are developed and licensed, how recommendations are made, how safety and efficacy are assured, and how safety and impact are monitored after distribution. This information can serve as a foundation for reassuring patients and families that the vaccines they are receiving are safe, effective and important.

Session Learning Objectives:
