Improving Hep B Awareness, Screening, Vaccination and Linkage to Care Among LGBTQ Communities

June is Pride Month! In the U.S. an estimated 2.2 million persons are living with chronic hepatitis B, but only 25% are aware of their infection. Please join us for a webinar on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm EDT to discuss efforts to improve hepatitis B awareness, screening, vaccination, and linkage to care among LGBTQ communities. Panelists will share efforts to raise hepatitis B awareness, testing, and vaccination among the MSM Latinx community in King County, Washington and the CDC’s Division of Viral Hepatitis will share resources to promote hepatitis A and B vaccination among MSM communities.

Speakers:

Anthony Le, Hepatitis Education Project
Lesster Munguia, Entre Hermanos
