About CEI:

The Clinical Education Initiative (CEI), a New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute program, offers free continuing medical education to enhance the capacity of New York State’s diverse healthcare workforce to deliver high-quality healthcare services and improve patient health outcomes. CEI’s Hep C and Drug User Health Center of Excellence enhances provider capacity through webinars, trainings, intensive preceptorship program, technical assistance and more!

Learning Objectives:

  1. Explain the epidemiology and course of Hep B
  2. Discuss the laboratory testing and diagnosis of Hep B and Hep C
  3. Understand the role of Hep B reactivation in patient with Hep C
  4. Describe the clinical management of Hep B/C coinfection
