Description:

This training is designed to educate clinical providers on current Hep C screening and treatment guidelines for people of childbearing age, pregnant people and children. Join more than 6,000 physicians, NPs, PAs, RNs and pharmacists in NYC, and nationally, who have benefited from Empire Liver Foundation’s clinical education webinars.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Explain changes in Hep C epidemiology nationally, including among people of childbearing age and pregnant people
  • Recall current Hep C screening and treatment guidelines for people of childbearing age, pregnant people and children
  • Describe the risk of gestational parent-to-child transmission of Hep C
  • Understand the impact of Hep C on pregnancy
